If you like to be a hero or a completionist, the Super Mario series is always are good choice. Specially I would recommend the Super Mario 64, as it is the first 3D Mario game. Also, it is also a game that is widely discussed in the world of speedrunning, as the original game version have glitches which allow player to skip most parts of the gameplay and beat Bowser directly. However, the newest ports made of Nintendo Switch has used another version of the game which doesn't allow such skips.
